LifeRiders

We are a group of 'aged' riders and ex riders from various ages of motorcycling history over many years. We originate from the West Burton MCC from 1975 and grew into the old farts we are now! But we are still in there and doing it!

When West Burton MCC folded, after 21 years, those of us left with any heartbeat or life remaining, became The LifeRiders, joining our many talents to help Riders for Health achieve their goal. Over the 15 years as their UK Support Team of volunteers we have raised over £70,000 and running through our own organised events and attending other shows and functions to achieve this end.

We also take our own presentation of Riders for Health's work (and how we are involved) to clubs and organizations within the East Midlands area. Not just biking clubs either. We do our DVD enhanced show at all sorts of places, from church and charitable venues to motor clubs and business and Rotarian organizations etc.

We are always looking for new volunteers to help out. We need bikers preferably, but not neccessarily, who want to have a day or a full weekend out with a challenge. The challenge is to be able to talk, communicate and sell our Superbike Draw, Biker Tombola and other items for sale from our fully equipped and insured stand.

Every event is a freebie! Camping is free. Events entry is free. We even cater from our stand for our helpers - Full breakfast, Lunch and Evening meals are provided at £4 per day per volunteer. And the grub is bonza! The fun and friendship is optional - but we aren't half good at what we do! After 33 years of organizing rallies and stuff we bloody well should be.

That's it folks.

Come and join in whenever you can.

You'll see what you have been missing and all for raising funds for the only biker's international charity showing the world how motorcycles are saving lives by delivering aid and health packages with 'zero breakdown' transport and training!

go to www.riders.org for the full info

Cheers
