Northamptonshire

In Northamptonshire the main involvement is with the Northants Motorcycle Casualty Reduction committee.

This committee has reps from the BMF, IAM, County Council road safety, County Highways (Atkins), MAG, rider training schemes, and the police. We also have guest speakers.

We have in the past had bike craft days at Rockingham speedway, and put in place plans and money for road improvements, we've also had dealers promoting safe riding.

All this work has resulted in a 40% reduction in motorcycle accidents.
